A COR NA PAISAGEM / COLOR IN LANDSCAPE

The two-hour interactive workshop addresses the dialogue between color and local landscape within Matsudo city, Japan. It is also an opportunity to compare popular Brazilian colors with the Japanese palette: a cultural exchange that explores the concept “geography of colors” (by the architects Jean-Phillipe and Dominique Lenclos) and how it determines the local architecture, objects and daily life.
There was a hands-on component to the workshop whereby participants will use pictures taken by the artist and local residents, which shared on Paradise AIR’s Instagram (#matsudo_color), as a foundation to collectively create a color palette of Matsudo city.
